Safety

GFL are committed to the safety of their workers and customers.

Respirable crystalline silica (RCS), in the form of a very fine dust generated during the fabrication of engineered stone products, is cause for significant concern in the workplace. RCS inhalation causes scarring of the lung tissue leading to a serious health condition called silicosis.

That’s why we choose to participate in the the Impac / RCS (Respirable Crystalline Silica) Accreditation Programme. We are proud to be a leading participant to this programme and our Silver Tier status.

Attention to detail

We pride ourselves on craftsmanship and attention to detail, both in the products we source and the installation process.

We extensively train our CNC operators and stonemasons in-house to be highly skilled so we know each and every member of our team buy into GFL’s standard of excellence, ensuring only the best results for your space.

Technology

We only use state-of-the-art automated stone cutting & polishing techniques with our CNC Bridge Saws, Routers, Water Jets and Line Polishers.

As a result, we can manufacture any thickness or shape of benchtop with a variety of edge profiles including curved or beveled sides. This advanced technology ensures our customers have a truly bespoke benchtop.

Environmental Care

With stone cutting a huge amount of water is consumed, and tonnes of waste sludge created during the manufacturing process. GFL is committed to protecting NZ’s precious natural resources, our water clarification and sludge dehydration plant allows us to filter and recycle 95% of our waste water back to our machines. In combination with 100,000 litres of rain storage tanks collected off our factory roof we are 100% self sufficient in our water requirements.
